* Responsible for the purchase of the materials and equipment needed for manufacturing operations

* Send purchase orders to vendors. Follow-up with vendors to confirm the commitment to deliver

* Monitor and track key supply chain metrics for the designated department(s) or workcenters and/or machines (on time complete the backlog total, red backorder list, shortage of materials, time adherence, etc.)

* Participate in the planning meetings with sales, manufacturing, and customer service as needed

* Responsible for keeping correct records for purchasing (including reconciling invoices and receiving invoices)

* Keep the work area in a safe and clean environment

* Check sales orders in the process to confirm the volume requirements for new orders by utilizing sales order reports

* Review current production schedule performance/ evaluate reschedules

* Verify new material requirements or constraints using MRP data

* Review existing or newly created ordered orders to ensure they are in line with the constraints of your work center using MRP capacity information

* Adjust/Dispatcher release orders that are planned in accordance with MRP suggestions and departmental expertise.

 

 

Maintenance Mechanic

 

A rapidly growing manufacturing firm is seeking an experienced full-time Maintenance Technician for our team of maintenance technicians during our 3rd shift.
