A DAY IN THE LIFE OF A Museum and Retail Marketing Coordinator
The Museum and Retail Marketing coordinator will work in conjunction with Brand Engagement, Brand Development, and Retail, develop and manage individualized, location-based marketing initiatives for Lodge factory stores and Lodge Museum inclusive of PR, advertising, social media, email, and events. Work closely with factory store managers to understand the marketing levers that drive results for each store location and provide regular marketing feedback and reporting for each store. Actively manage factory store and museum marketing budgets in coordination with internal partners in Brand Engagement, Retail, and Brand Development. Manage Facebook and Instagram channels for Lodge factory stores and Lodge Cast Iron Museum to drive awareness, engage customers, and increase foot traffic (includes content creation/sourcing, editorial calender management, timely posting, Facebook event creation, and interactions with followers. Manage Facebook and Instagram community, responding to comments and DMs in a friendly and timely manner, routing customer questions to the appropriate. Work with Brand Engagement, Brand Development, and Retail to develop and manage advertising strategy for factory stores and museums inclusive of paid social, billboards, radio, print, etc., working with third-party agencies as needed. Manage relationships with factory store advertising vendors (billboards, radio, print, etc.). Work cross-functionally within the marketing department to procure appropriate content for each marketing channel and ensure messaging and visuals are on-brand. Plan and execute museum events as needed, coordinating everything from set-up and signage to attendee lists and event marketing across appropriate channels. Help plan and market factory store events and in-store promotions across marketing channels, working with store managers to drive traffic and encourage repeat customers by promoting store loyalty programs. Manage collaboration requests and marketing responses for Lodge Museum and factory stores. Work with the cast iron collector community and other high-value communities to build relationships that grow consumer engagement with Lodge museum. Identify key performance metrics for marketing and advertising initiatives (ROI, impressions, etc.) and communicate to key stakeholders via regular reporting. Be an active contributor to the annual factory store and museum marketing planning process.

Qualifications
- 1-2 years of experience in marketing
- Bachelor's degree, preferably in marketing or related field
- Experience with social media management for an organization or business, including knowledge of how to create Facebook events, write engaging social media captions, and basic photo/video skills
- Ability to create digital content using Canva or other simple design tools while adhering to brand guidelines
- Familiarity with Microsoft Office suite and digital marketing platforms (i.e. Google Business Manager, email marketing)
- Experience in event planning and organization
- Experience managing advertising budget
- Excellent presentation skills and impeccable written communication skills to articulate clearly with various internal and external partners
- Highly organized and detail-oriented
- A self-starter who works well independently and with a team
- Ability to establish and maintain effective working relationships
- Ability to interpret consumer research to turn insights into action
